I was in a warehouse last night, being chased by zombies, without any ammo. And when I did find another clip to unload, they seem to be unphased by every bullet I put straight into their heads. Luckily zombies don't move very fast because I hate having dreams of being chased.
I woke up this morning drenched in sweat. Not because of the recreation of the Night of the Living Dead in my subconscious, but because my roommate was kind enough to crank up the thermostat to 78 degrees. I love waking up to a sweltering hot room since satin sheets and sweaty balls are an awesome combination.
The heat may have been a blessing in disguise though, because it woke me up... late. My phone alarm didn't go off. But how could it have when my phone was missing. That's right. I left it in my friend's car last night. oops. maybe I should have set another alarm, or hired a rooster.
In less than 5 minutes, I'm out of bed, showered, dressed and rushing out the front door... but not before my roommate can stop me to rant for 15 minutes about how shitty his day was yesterday.
[Roomie, I love you, but please do me a favor: if I'm running out the door at quarter to 8, don't stop me mid-stride just to tell me about the different color eggs your darling angel fish have laid in your tank. I don't give a shit, especially after seeing you sport a white knit cap that makes your head look like a mushroom.]Off to Pershing and the I-5 North merge... its not only the most dangerous intersection in the history of concrete highways, but its also the smelliest. Or maybe that's from my high protein diet. Either way, I just about died on that freeway this morning.
it is only tuesday.
luckily, I am surrounded by some pretty amazing people who unknowingly brighten my day, each and every day. And though I started off on the wrong side of a sweaty bed, it can only get better from here.
Besides, we all have something to look forward to tonight, at 8/7c on ABC......
