Smash Mouth

some people entertain me. wildly.

for the past few months, I've been roaming different 24 hour locations. I guess you can say I easily get bored of my workouts, so in creating the illusion that I'm working out at a different gym, doing slightly different exercises every time, it gives me that second wind to continue on.

one thing stays constant though.. every morning during the week, I go to the 24 in UTC at 6:15am. every single morning. The 24 staff don't ask me to check in anymore, thats how regular that part of my schedule is. But what I mentioned earlier about being bored of my workout still holds true, so what do I do to beat the morning workout blues?

I make shit up.

a few weeks ago, I started this upper body cardio/conditioning workout with a 25lb plate that requires a good amount of strength, agility and most importantly, form. To be honest, all I'm really doing is swinging a plate around until my arms burn, but apparently, I started a new trend.

I walked in this morning to find 2 other guys doing the same shoulder raises and rows.

but who am I to take credit for someone else's workout regime? How am I so sure they didn't learn it from some world renowned 5-year Olympic fitness trainer from Missouri?

..because one of the dudes was an idiot. He clearly had no idea what he was doing... so much so that he smashed himself in the face when trying to swing a plate from his legs up to his chest. Poor guy lost face while working out, literally, but it was still the most hilarious thing I've ever seen.

I'm glad I'm able to impart some wisdom to the stupid people in the world.

for progress of my workout.. http://moresitups.blogspot.com/
